A county assistant is an individual willing to work closely with a County Lead in meeting with the general public and family/friends of inmates for purposes of explaining the benefits of the Public Safety Through Prisoner Rehabilitation Act of 2008.  Assistants are core individuals responsible for gathering signatures.

-    Gather signatures from qualified voters.

-    Provide voter registration cards to non-registered voters and assist them in completing the form.

-    Return completed petitions to County Leads.
